A. Wife; Kim. 2 kids; boys Cooper - 6 and Keegan - 4. Coop goes to Estrella Mountain Elementary School and LOVES it! Keeg goes to Phoenix Children's Academy in Estrella & looking forward to Kindergarten at Estella Elementary. My wife is a high school counselor for the Liberty Elementary School District. Kim and I have been married for 11 years & love to camp with the kids, go to the beach in SD, and enjoy our weekend hikes here in Estrella at all of our awesome trails. I occasionally take the kids to the Yacht Club for a canoe boat ride. WE especially enjoy watching our kids participate in Estrella Youth Sports. |
Q. How did you get into real estate?
A. I have been in Real Estate for over 20 years. I first started out as a retail assistant manager for a builder. Then I worked as a new construction consultant, as well as a relocation expert, in the Cleveland / Akron area for Coldwell Banker corporate offices. I loved it! I enjoyed and learned a ton in the 6 years I was in RE in Ohio. I then moved out here in 2006 and the bottom fell out of the Real estate market in 2007. I was fortunate get hired in the foreclosure field for Chase, BOA, FNMA, FRDMAC, Wells Fargo, and various other banks who had a ton of inventory here in the west valley. It was a tough, thankless, excruciatingly long job for a few years, but I gained a ton of experience as well as made a lot of contacts and helped many, many first-time home buyers, investors, and distressed sellers who are now repeat customers and friends.

Q. Please tell me about your business. Why do you enjoy it?
A. Helping people and creating relationships!! WE as Real Estate agents wear many hats! We have to understand the market as well as sellers' and buyers' needs and wants. There are tons of scenarios; 1st time home buyer’s foreign investors, secondary homes buyers (vacationers), hardship sellers, just to name a few. I enjoy helping people obtain their goals & the challenge / competitiveness in the art of the deal. Q. What is your recommendation for new families moving to Estrella?
A. Definitely go to the new home owners orientation that is presented by our HOA. This is a bundle of info that is useful right out of the gate for anyone new to our community! Also get involved right away! There are many activities, whether your passion is PTO with your children’s schools, politics, Estrella Business Group, yoga, fitness, swimming, poker, car, and other various clubs! This is your community and your amenities - use it, in other words. Oh, and get a bike if you do not already have one - ha huh! |
I typically show new buyers Starpointe Residents Club, go over the various clubs & amenities, hike and bike trails, the Yacht Club, local schools, low taxes, high appreciation rates, and pride of home ownership that shows! Estrella Mountain really does “ sell itself” in my opinion.
Q. When you meet with people looking to move to Estrella, what do highlight as unique in our area?
A. Estrella really is the most unique master planned community in frankly all of Arizona, in my opinion. We have won #1 best master planned community multiple times over the past ten years. It is affordable for what you get out of our facilities.
