CASEY SCHWEBEL & A PLUS MOBILE AUTOMOTIVE
ORIGINALLY POSTED JANUARY 15, 2016
Jen's Editing Note: Just one mention of "car" on Facebook and you'll see all kinds of recommendations for Casey Schwebel.
"Casey's the best!" and "Casey's the man," have been regular reviews of A Plus Mobile Automotive. Casey has a great following of customers in Estrella. He's also a member of the Estrella Business Group. He joined on as an #EstrellaGives charity sponsor for our West Valley Families - Estrella program, too. We hope you enjoy Casey's Q&A as much as we have. Watch our Facebook page for more features all week long! |
Q. Where are you from and how did you decided to move to Estrella?
A. We are Southern California natives, but decided to move to Arizona 11 years ago to purchase a home. We started in Buckeye where the housing was in our budget. My in-laws moved to Estrella Mountain in 2004. We always loved it up here! Our girls loved the Starpointe and the water park! So, after the economic downturn, we were able to find a house here in EMR.

Q. Can you please tell me a little bit about you and your family?
A. Well, as you can see the business I am in, I've always loved cars and racing. I started changing my parents' oil and spark plugs in their cars when I was 15. If it has an engine, I'm into it. I met my wife, Anna, at Worthington Ford in Long Beach where we both worked. We got married and have two wonderful daughters. Back in the day when I used to Drag race in NHRA sportsman class, Anna would be on the starting line with our older daughter sleeping in the stroller! Q. When it comes to cars... your name ALWAYS pops up in recommendations! Can you please tell me about your business?
A. A Plus Mobile Automotive came about basically as a necessity. I worked at Ford Dealers for over 13 years. The last dealership I worked at was sold out to a large auto corporation. Well, thats say I could not work for the "man". We,(wife and I) then had an online Mustang performance parts business, until the economy crashed in 2008. I knew I did not want to go work for "someone else", so we started A Plus Automotive. |
I pride myself on giving customers the quality and integrity they deserve. Fix what needs fixed, maintain what needs maintained. Nothing else!"
Q. What is your business philosophy?
A. Working for dealerships, you honestly see the bad side of the auto repair industry. "Up Sell" everything! A Plus Mobile Automotive strives to provide our customers with A+ / top of the line repairs and maintenance. I pride myself on giving customers the quality and integrity they deserve. Fix what needs fixed. Maintain what needs maintained. Nothing else!

Q. We are so happy to have you as a charity sponsor! What other organizations are you a part of?
A. Well besides sponsoring EMR, we do help out a great dog rescue program out of Verrado. I do also volunteer my time as a team leader for the kids AWANA program at EMR church.

Q. What do you like to do in your free time?
A. Most of my free time is doing some kind of cooking or grilling food. I also love to go mountain biking in FINS. Q. What is your advice to other families moving into the Estrella area?
A. Enjoy the great surroundings we have here in Estrella. Get to know your neighbors and join all the different actives available to us! Q. What is one thing you'd like to see in Estrella over the next 5-10 years?
A. Like everyone else says, a nice sit down restaurant would be great. Other than that, not too much. I am kind of selfish, would like our little "mountain" to stay the way it is. Not too known! Q. Anything else you'd like to add?
A. Thank you to all of our great EMR neighbors for supporting ours and the other small businesses owners! Jen: You're welcome! Thank you! |
