GOODYEAR NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME WATCH
NO CRIME is too small to report to Goodyear Police. In fact, reports help them know what to watch for on their patrols. The non-emergency number for Goodyear PD is (623) 932-1220.
Please also take a look at our community crime prevention feature here. |
Overall, EMR is one of the communities within Goodyear that tends to operate like one big “block watch.” It has that “small town feel,” as many neighbors and business owners know one another. In our experience, the people of EMR tend to look out for one another even without being part of an official block watch program. ~Lisa Kutis, Goodyear Police Department

AVAILABLE IN THE WEST VALLEY
Refuse To Be A Victim® is a personal safety program that teaches strategies you can use to avoid situations where self-defense is required.
This course focuses on proactive courses of action, rather than reactive. Criminals prefer easy targets. That means having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. It is not a self-defense class, nor does it promote firearm ownership. |

The 2 hour class includes coloring books, a video featuring Eddie Eagle, and four easy things to remember: Stop – Don’t touch – Run Away – Tell a grownup. And who knows, maybe Eddie Eagle will even stop by to do his dance for the kids.
